Organic Beef

We use Pedigree South Devon beef animals raised to organic standards. We believe that these animals produce meat with the perfect marbling and fat coverage which, when hung for the appropriate length of time, makes for the most tender and flavoursome beef imaginable.

Pictured are some fantastic South Devon Beef Animals on the nearby Carswell Farm. Traditionally a mixed breed used for both milk and beef the South Devons make fantastic mothers. The South Devons are large animals, a beautiful toffee brown colour with a very placid nature hence their nickname the 'gentle giant'.

We have recently developed a new Gourmet Burger. The burgers are hand-made with the finest organic ingredients, including fantastic organic South Devon beef from the Flete Esate, hung for 21 days. The tender flavour of the meat is delicately enhanced with rosemary, basil and other organic herbs.
