We cut everything to order. We therefore have to operate a deadline for orders, which is 12pm on Monday for delivery in the same week. For customers with a repeat order, the deadline for any changes to your order is the Friday before delivery at 12pm. After this point, orders will be working their way through our butchery so cannot be cancelled or amended.
We deliver nationwide every Thursday and Friday every week.
We use a national courier network (APC) to deliver our meat boxes. All our meat is packed in insulated polystyrene boxes with gel ice packs to keep your meat in optimum condition during transit. In temperature trials, our packaging system has been proven to keep meat at fridge temperature for up to 36 hours, so you can be sure that your meat will be in the best condition when it reaches you.
Nationwide delivery is at a flat-fee of £7.99, though for some areas (e.g. the Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland) a surcharge applies. UK mainland delivery is FREE on all orders over £80 (other than at Christmas). You can also choose to collect from our site at Buckfastleigh, Devon (choose the Collect from Farm option at checkout), which is of course free.
You can choose your own delivery date when placing your order online. Our order deadline for delivery in the same week is 12pm on Mondays. For customers with a repeat order, cut off is the Friday before delivery at 12pm.
Customers submitting an order after this time will have the option to choose a delivery date the following week, or a range of later dates.Your meat box will be delivered between 8.00am and 6.00pm on your specified delivery date. We do offer a guaranteed morning delivery service at an extra cost of £2. You can select this option at the checkout.
