Packers required!

The Well Hung Meat Company is looking for 2 hardworking and reliable packers to join our butchery team. Experience not essential as full training will be given and there may be a chance to develop butchery skills.


Duties involve:

  • Portioning products

  • Packing

  • Weighing and labelling packaged goods ready for dispatch

  • Quality Control

  • Filling in production records.

  • Cleaning work areas

  • Delivering goods to local courier

  • Computer recorded dispatch

  • Face to face customer service when required

Skills required:

  • Full clean driving licence & own transport essential (due to rural location)

  • Excellent levels of personal hygiene, efficiency and punctuality are essential

  • Current Food Safety Certificate an advantage (up to date food safety training to at least basic level)

  • Computer Skills

  • Good communication and team working skills

This job is offered on a variable hours basis

May require both day and night shift work: Dayshift 7am start (5 days/week, exact hours to be discussed). Nightshift 10pm to 6am (3 to 4 days/week, exact hours to be discussed) 

Pay: £6.75 per hour
