Duck with Mushrooms and Port
Ingredients
1 Duck,
cut into portions
25g Flour
1 Large Onion, chopped
2 Cloves of Garlic, crushed
100g Button Mushrooms
2 tbsp Redcurrant Jelly
150ml Port
Salt and Pepper
Method
Coat the duck portions in the flour and place in a slow cooker together with all the other ingredients. Give it a quick stir and cook for 8-10 hours on low.
After cooking, remove the duck portions and keep warm. Carefully remove the melted fat from the surface. Stir the remaining sauce well and pour over the duck.
Serve with seasonal vegetables of your choice.
